Oliver Scheibenbogen studied psychology at the University of Vienna, where he was awarded the academic degree of Master of Science in 2001. In 2003, he completed the curriculum to become a clinical and health psychologist and has since been registered with the Federal Ministry of Health and Women. In 2006, he finished the doctoral studies of psychology at the University of Human Sciences in Liechtenstein and Vienna with the award of the academic degree Doctor of Natural Sciences. Since 1996 he has been working at the Anton Proksch Institute, meanwhile he is head of the Department of Creativity and Life Design and coordinated issues of the European Society on Treatment of Alcohol Dependence and related Disorders (ESTAD). Furthermore, he is a biofeedback therapist/teaching therapist and on the board of the Austrian Society for Biofeedback and Psychophysiology (ÖBfP). As part of his training as a clinical and health psychologist, he is certified as a lecturer by the Federal Ministry.
