Martina Lindorfer is an Associate Professor at TU Wien and a key researcher at SBA Research. Her research and outreach have been recognised with the ERCIM Cor Baayen Young Researcher Award, the ACM CyberW Early Career Award for Women in Cybersecurity Research, as well as the Hedy Lamarr Award from the City of Vienna.
Her research interests lie in applied systems security and privacy, particularly in automated techniques for large-scale analysis of applications to detect malicious behaviour, vulnerabilities, and privacy leaks. She currently focuses on the analysis of mobile apps and smart devices to enhance transparency and accountability in how they process and share private information.
