Ashoka
Marie Ringler is a member of Ashoka’s Global Leadership Group, driving the growth of Social Entrepreneurship and Changemaking. She founded Ashoka’s Austrian office in 2011 and with her team across Europe supports over 800 Ashoka Fellows across more than 25 countries. A former member of Vienna’s City Council, Marie has long championed innovation and societal change, including open-source strategies in government. She drives initiatives at the intersection of technology and social change, championing ethical AI, expanding digital access for marginalized communities, and supporting tech-powered solutions that advance the public good. She is Vice President of the European Forum Alpbach and board member of Specialisterne Foundation. She is also a sought-after voice on social innovation globally.
