Dr Eugenia Stamboliev is a philosopher specialising in media and technology. She works as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Vienna and also serves as a visiting professor of the philosophy of technology at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) in Cottbus. Her research focuses on the ethical, political and media-related structures surrounding artificial intelligence and democracy. She is a board member of Women in AI Austria. Additionally, she leads a research project on large language models (LLMs) in democratic contexts at the Prague University of Economics and Business, and another on trust in decentralised systems at the University of Vienna.
