Doris Allhutter is a Senior Academy Scientist at the Institute of Technology Assessment (ITA) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and a lecturer at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. Her recent research focuses on the digital transformation of public administration, algorithmic practices in public services, and datafication in the welfare state. Interested in power relations and governmentality, she explores the role of machine learning in reproducing intersectional inequality.
