David Passarelli

Dr David Passarelli is Director of UN University’s Center for Policy Research. He has overall responsibility for the direction and administration of the Centre’s research programmes. He led the Secretariat of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism during 2022–2023. He serves as UNU’s representative to the UN High-Level Committee on Programmes. His research has been commissioned by UNICEF, UNEP, UNDCO, and the UK Ministry of Defence, and several governments, and focuses on global governance, international development and global economic governance, migration, data governance and foresight. He holds a Doctorate in International Development from the University of Oxford.
