TNO VECTOR Centre for Societal Innovation and Strategy
Carlos Montalvo is a Senior Research Scientist specialising in Strategy and Innovation Policy at the TNO VECTOR Centre for Societal Innovation and Strategy (Netherlands). His research on Behavioural Dynamics and Innovation introduces new approaches to policy analysis and design, linking the micro-foundations of human behaviour to digital and sustainable innovation roadmaps. This work helps scale up innovations and integrate behavioural change into institutional structures that drive transformative change. For over two decades, his expertise has supported European policymaking on sustainability and digitalisation. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Forum for Studies of Policies for Research and Innovation and a Visiting Professor of Behavioural Dynamics and Systems Innovation at CSIC-UPV (Spain).
