Superflux
Born and raised in India’s postcolonial landscapes, Anab Jain is a designer, filmmaker, educator and futurist. With Jon Ardern, she co-founded Superflux, an award-winning studio whose work spans speculative worlds, immersive futures and foresight for organisations such as Google DeepMind, United Nations, New York Climate Week, the UK Government, and the Omidyar Foundation. Their immersive artworks have been exhibited internationally, including at the Barbican, MoMA New York, the V&A, La Biennale di Venezia, MAK Vienna, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Korea, the Vitra Design Museum, and the Kunsthaus Graz. Superflux’s seminal new solo show, ‘The Craftocene,’ is currently at the Weltmuseum in Vienna until August 16th and is part of the Klima Biennale. Jain has been awarded the Royal Designer for Industry Award, TED Fellowship and for the last decade, has served as Professor of Design Investigations at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
