Agata Ciabattoni is Full Professor at TU Wien Informatics. Her research focuses on non-classical logics – including deontic, fuzzy, and substructural logics –, bridging theoretical foundations with applications in artificial intelligence, legal reasoning, and philosophy. She has led numerous competitive research projects and currently heads two Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) projects, including one on AI and Law within the Digital Humanism programme, as well as a project funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). She is also a member of the Board of directors of the CoE Bilateral AI. Her work has received multiple international distinctions, including best paper awards at IJCAI, KR and TABLEAUX, and Austriaʼs prestigious START Prize.
