Adio-Adet Dinika

Dr Adio-Adet Dinika is a Political Scientist and AI Governance Researcher working at the intersection of digital labour, decolonial theory, and technology policy. He is a Research Fellow at the Distributed AI Research Institute. He is a member of the Data Workers’ Inquiry (DWI) organising team, a transnational initiative centring the voices and experiences of data workers in the global AI supply chain. His research examines algorithmic management, labour precarity, and the colonial infrastructures underpinning AI systems. As a 2025–2026 Mila AI Policy Fellow, he is developing “AI Governance from Below,” advancing worker- and community-centred pathways to algorithmic accountability.
