Eno: An ever-changing portrait of a musical visionary. The Austrian premiere of the groundbreaking documentary about Brian Eno by Gary Hustwit, screened at the Film Museum Vienna.

On the occasion of the conference – and as a cinematic exploration of how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping narrative forms and cultural historiography – the Austrian Film Museum presents Gary Hustwit’s archival documentary Eno.

This film and documentary by Gary Hustwit follows the musician Brian Eno, a visionary figure in audiovisual art. The film itself uses AI software to re-edit anew for each screening; creating an ephemeral and ever-changing cinematic experience. This creates a bridge between the artist, his biography and art at the intersection of human and machine.

A cinematic echo, constantly reshaped at the threshold between human vision and machine rhythm.
