Call for volunteers
Become part of the Digital Humanism Conference 2026!
Join our volunteer team, support the conference and experience it from the inside.
We’re looking for friendly, reliable and curious students to join our amazing volunteer team for the Digital Humanism Conference 2026, taking place in Vienna from 24 to 26 June 2026.
A conference needs many hands and brains and we’d love to have you on board as one of our tentacles! 🐙
What you'll be doing:
Depending on your interests and availability, you might help with:
- Welcoming and checking in guests
- Supporting sessions and speakers in different rooms
- Running around (in a good way!) to help keep everything smooth and accessible
- Optional: Social Media support – capturing moments, sharing impressions and quotes

We can offer you the following deal:
Work 1 day and/or 1 evening, attend one day for free.
Let’s meet up!
There will be a short but important briefing evening in Vienna a week before the conference.

📅 When: Monday, 15 June, 6–8 pm
Attendance is required—it’s the only way to join the volunteer team, and it’s also where we’ll get to know each other, go over all the details, and enjoy some food together. 🍕

- The day(s) you’re available and willing to volunteer: Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, Thursday day, Friday day.
- Confirmation that you can join the briefing event on the evening of 15 June.
- Please specify if you are particularly interested in the social media task.
This counts as your binding application. We’ll review all submissions and get back to you with a confirmation. Please get in contact by 10 June.
