Dr Bernhard Bergmair is a Senior Manager at Silicon Austria Labs in Linz, where he coordinates sustainability-related research activities. His interdisciplinary work focuses on how companies can leverage transformative law to identify and assess business opportunities – with a current focus on how environmental laws impact the profitability of sustainable innovation.
Prior to this role, he worked at a global IT services company at the intersection of sustainability and technology consulting. Earlier, at a research and technology organisation, he initiated and led collaborative cross-industry foresight projects with a scope on various emerging digital technologies.
Dr Bernhard Bergmair holds a PhD in Physics from TU Wien.
