Dr Clara Blume is a San Francisco-based artist and researcher exploring human authorship through music, text, and machine collaboration. As founding director of the Open Austria Art + Tech Lab in Silicon Valley — the Austrian Foreign Ministry’s first initiative on artificial creativity — she curated award-winning international collaborations with OpenAI, Google Magenta, and Salesforce AI, presenting her work at SXSW and Ars Electronica. As a result, she was named among Apollo’s Global 40 Under 40 in Art + Tech. Drawing on twenty years of embodied creative practice, her current research focuses on the evolving meaning of trust, taste, and truth in an age of synthetic realities.
