Conference programme

#DigHum2025 brings together experts to discuss technology through the lens of human values and democratic principles. Challenging the digital, empowering the human.

Over the course of three full days, it will bring together global thinkers and policymakers to explore the potential of Digital Humanism and address societal challenges posed by AI. Topics will also include AI ecosystems, cybersecurity and governance, as well as social innovation and democracy.

The Digital Humanism Conference is a three-day event taking place from 26 to 28 May 2025 in Vienna, at the beautiful and centrally located MuseumsQuartier.

This conference welcomes anyone engaged in shaping our digital future and advancing Digital Humanism, including:

  • Researchers and academics examining the intersection of technology and society.
  • Members of Digital Humanism communities, contributing to its evolving discourse.

The main language of the conference is English, with keynotes and panel discussions held in English. Some side events may take place in German.

Venue

The venue is in Arena21 at MuseumsQuartier, Museumsplatz 7, 1010 Vienna. Everybody in Vienna knows MuseumsQuartier, “MQ” for short.

We recommend using public transport. The nearest station is U2 or U3 Volkstheater.

  • Subway: U3 and U2 (Station Volkstheater), also in walking distance: U2 Museumsquartier.
  • Bus: 48A (Volkstheater), City Bus 2B (MuseumsQuartier)
  • Tram: 49 (Volkstheater)

All venue rooms offer barrier-free access and are equipped with accessible sanitary facilities. The rooms on the first floor can be reached via stairs or a private elevator. If you need to use the elevator, please let us know before the conference so we can assist you.

We will be providing vegetarian-only food options for lunch.

Tickets

You can purchase your tickets online in our shop on Kupfticket.

If tickets are still available on the day, you can purchase them at the door. However, space is very limited, so we strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot.

Your ticket gives you access to the full day programme, as well as coffee breaks and lunch.

Evening events on Monday and Tuesday are included in day passes or the 3-day pass. The Wednesday evening event is free for everybody. Please reserve your spot by booking a free ticket.

Yes! We offer a reduced ticket price for students. Please bring a valid student ID with you.

No, the event will take place in person only. We’d love to welcome you there!

Before the 12 May 2025, we allow cancellation of tickets within two weeks of purchase. Please understand that we cannot cancel tickets after this date. 

To cancel your ticket, please write a note to info@dighum.wien from the email address entered during purchase.

Alternatively, you can also transfer your ticket to a friend instead of cancelling it. Just send us a quick note with their name and email address.

Each ticket is valid for one person only. If your guest would like to attend, they will need to purchase their own ticket.
